Tango Update!
We have a new version of Tango ready for you to download. For iPhone, you can now clear your recent call history. And we have a BIG update for Android. Updates are as follows:
- You can clear your call log — use menu button to delete all — long press a specific call to delete just one
- You can now make Tango calls directly from your address book. Just look for the camera icon to see who you can Tango
- HQ video for HTC Sensation 4G to HTC Sensation 4G
- Ability to add new contact from Tango
- Fixed Samsung Galaxy S video issue
- Fixed Samsung Infuse 4G video orientation
- Fixed Samsung Droid Charge audio issue
- Fixed Samsung i9003 video issue
- Fixed HTC Desire S 2.3 video orientation
- Fixed HTC Thunderbolt 2.3 video orientation
- Fixed HTC Incredible S 2.3 video orientation
- Fixed Sony Ericsson Xperia Play video issue
Why bother fixing video orientation on 2.3 when Thunderbolt doesnt officially have 2.3 yet. how about fixing the completely broken audio when Tango between two thunderbolts that make this app completely worthless. I bought 2 Thunderbolts to video chat with my wife. make this app work and I’ll PAY for it, want $4.99 per license? sounds great to me if it works.
MAKE IT WORK on STOCK Thunderbolts PLEASE.

Samsung Galaxy SL ( i9003) front camera problem ?
tried out the new version.. The good news is that the front cam works fine now.. but the bad news is that the speaker gets switched on automaticlaly when you switch on cam and there is no option of switicing to headphones.. :(.. so if ur on a video call people around you can hear what your talking.. you have to switch off video to be able to switch to headphones… and when u swtich vid back on, speaker comes on again.. :(.. hoping its a minor fix and you guys can fix it soon..

In addition, push notifications are now broken on Thunderbolt, and maybe android completely. So now you have to actually have tango open to recieve calls….. BROKEN. though I was able to get moments of clear audio between 2 bolts now.

Why would I have Skype call in my contacts list? I have a HTC Thunderbolt, Verizon.

You have to fix all the sound issues across all the phones and regions: I use a HTC Nexus one and Samsung Nexus S to videocall in Montreal (Canada) my girlfriend in Netherlands who uses a SGS 2. All the calls are using wifi because 3g is useless to much distortion in the call and super crappy image. Her internet speed is 15mb download and 2mb upload, mine is Bell Fibe 16 (16MB down, 1MB up). I can see her, she can see me but we cannot hear each other but image is worst than when I videocall my daughter in her Iphone4 in Montreal she has a 5mb internet speed. If we plug the headphones in either phone Tango do not make the switch stay stuck in speaker phone but there is no sound or the sound is very low; so you have to glue it to your head, that defeats the purpose of a videocall. When I call my daughter to her Iphone 4 in Montreal the same city where I live the sound in the speaker is louder in each phone and clearer than calling Europe. What happen you lose packets of sound if the distance is longer? Same drama once you plug the headphones Tango do not do the switch.

I just downloaded tango to my samsung galixy 4g and the vido chat volum is so low u can not hear it and my volume is all the way up and picture quailty is very poor how can I fix all this?

I was purchased Sony Ericsson SK 17i, in this mobile has the facility of video calling. But it is not working. At customer care center preferred your soft to download and use for video calling. I was done exactly what they said. But still I am unable to use my SK 17i mobile for 3g & video calling. I hope you respond my mail and guide in the right way.

We currently work on all Android phones and tablets, all iOS products, Windows Phone and the PC. Not sure what kind of operating system is on your tablet, but if it’s not in the list mentioned, then we would not support it anytime soon.

Tango was working in Samsung SII for few days but all of sudden i cannot hear the voice from other user who has i phone. The i phone user can hear and see me but i cannot hear the iphone user .Please fix this and give a solution if you know . My Android version is 4.0.3, Model No. GT-I9100
